lilly - e-dayBig wins: Representative Camille Lilly defeated her opponent with 80% of the vote.  Oak Park residents Michael Clancy and Pamela Leeming were elected judges.  Neighborhood friend Lisa Marino was elected judge.  Longtime DPOP friend, Alderman Deborah Graham, was elected Democratic Committeeman of Chicago's 29th Ward.

The big battle begins: Now that the primary is out of the way, it's time to move on to helping President Barack Obama win in November.  Phone banks operate out of DPOP every Tuesday and Thursday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.  Your help is needed.  Also, join us on April 7 for the Obama for America monthly meeting at DPOP at 9:30 a.m.  This month includes viewing of the 17-minute documentary 'The Road We've Traveled.'

DPOP Second Saturday: Join us on Saturday, April 14 at the monthly Democratic Party of Oak Park 'Second Saturday' Meeting.  This month we'll discuss the results of the primary and discuss our plans to win in November.  This meeting is not to be missed!
